Happy New Year, indeed!

We begin 2019 continuing to appreciate the great songs that were made last year.  I cull from year-end lists compiled by the knowledegable and diverse rock department here at WTJU, and start chipping away at the backlog of songs I want to play on the air.  The genres and styles are all over the place, which is how we do it on this radio show, Merging w/the Night.

I played a couple of old favorites from Yo La Tengo (pictured).  So glad they are still making music.  Band member James McNew (center) used to be a DJ at WTJU, and has continued to support the station.
